NICHIYU — 70 years of success

Immediately after its founding in 1937, Nippon Yusoki Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as NICHIYU) began developing the first Japanese electric forklift. Since then, for nearly 70 years, the company has maintained its leadership among Japanese manufacturers in the development and production of electric warehouse equipment. The very first electric forklift, stacker, and robocar in Japan appeared under this brand.

Today, NICHIYU is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of electric forklifts and warehouse equipment. Every year, about 10,000 units of machinery roll off the company’s production lines in Kyoto and Shiga Prefecture (Japan), and are then exported to many countries around the world.

Throughout its entire history, NICHIYU has remained committed exclusively to electric-powered equipment, accumulating extensive experience in its design, production, and operation.
