“Head of the Foreign Economic Activity Department of Mikro-F Ltd., Myroslava Brovchuk, shared JIVA statistical data: in the first three quarters of 2009, only 18 internal-combustion forklifts were imported to Ukraine from Japan (compared to 570 over the same period in 2008) and 13 electric forklifts (199 a year earlier).

The global statistics (FEM, ITA, JIVA) look somewhat better: the number of machines imported to Ukraine from Europe, the USA, and Japan in January–September 2009 decreased by 2.7 times compared to the same period in 2008.”
